These shelves are 2 feet deep and can span up to 8 feet wide, and can handle anything you throw on them. Constructed with sturdy 2″ x 4″ frames with an option to upgrade to cabinet-grade plywood.

Our low-profile shelves are designed for shallow items that get lost on our heavy-duty shelves. Perfect for shoes, paint cans, lawn and garden sprays, cleaning supplies, gas cans, etc.
These shelves are 1 foot deep and can span up to 40 inches wide. Constructed with sturdy 2″ x 2″ frames with an option to upgrade to cabinet-grade plywood.
The differences between OSB and plywood are esthetics and texture. Plywood has a cleaner finish with a smooth texture. OSB has an industrial appearance and rougher texture with some manufacturer stamping on the underside.

Our Wood shelving units can be tailored to your exact garage layout and custom-fit around electrical outlets, pipes, ductwork and other obstacles. However, our steel shelving units are available in 6 different widths & heights and can be arranged modularly for near custom fits
Both are extremely strong, but our metal shelves hold up to 1800 pounds per shelf while our wood shelves hold up to 800 pounds per shelf, when weight is evenly distributed.
Not if inspected and built properly. Garage Envy shelves are constructed with heavy-duty 2” x 4” wood frames and cabinet-grade plywood tops (the really pretty, smooth and strong stuff). Every piece of wood goes through a 3 step quality control process to ensure our shelves are straight and square. However, if Garage Envy shelves ever sag, we’ll happily repair your shelf as part of our Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee.
Our wood shelving units are made with high quality cabinet-grade plywood specifically designed to handle the moisture fluctuations in Nashville. However, if moisture or condensation are persistent in your garage, we recommend using our rust resistant metal shelving units.
Totally depends on your style! Wood shelves are warm and inviting when unfinished. They look rich and elegant when painted or stained to match your exact color specifications. Metal shelves are more modern and industrial. If you want to hide unsightlies behind closed doors, metal shelves are the perfect compliment to our metal cabinets.
Painted wood shelves and steel shelves are about the same price. Natural wood shelves are about 25% less expensive option. However, realtor data shows that metal cabinets and shelves are more desirable for resale. If you plan to sell your house in the next 3-5 years, the return on investment may be higher with metal cabinets and shelves.
