we were overwhelmed by the mess our garage was and just ignored it for too long. it was such a point of stress, we found garage envy and I asked John if he could work a miracle – he did just that. I didn’t know what I wanted, I just needed it done. in 2 days he completely transformed the space, knew exactly how to organize everything without any direction. he went above and beyond making sure lights had bulbs, each family member had storage space, tools were categorized, bins were labeled, etc. we are blown away with the result, and now just hang out in there in admiration. thanks so much, John and team for making our lives better!

One of my earliest childhood memories is sitting on the basement floor, hammering hundreds of nails into scrap wood while my mom created wooden figurines on her scroll saw. I’ve been building ever since.
When I needed to convert my attic into an office and find a new home for all our “stuff,” I turned to the garage. Like many Middle Tennessee homes, I was blessed with huge 16-foot garage ceilings and plenty of storage potential. After the garage makeover, I had four times the space of the attic—and lots of envious neighbors.
I combined a healthy dose of organizational OCD with my love for building in my woodworking sanctuary (the garage) and a desire for work/life balance. That’s how Garage Envy was born.
